Tax rates
Canora’s 2009 municipal tax rate is 25 mills with a minimum tax of $300 for land and $625 for land and improvements. To obtain the total tax rate, the municipal rate must be added to the Good Spirit School division rates.

| A property’s taxable assessed value is $30,000. |
| Municipal portion of taxes is $750 (30,000 x 25/1000). |
