A minimum deposit of $200 or 5 per cent, whichever is greater, must accompany all offers to purchase.

Unless otherwise specified by council, all property purchased will be subject to the following conditions:

1)    Payment must be received within 30 days of council’s acceptance,

2)    The current year’s taxes must be prepaid at time of purchase, and

3)    When the property includes a dwelling, the purchaser must provide proof of power, gas and water utility connections to the building within 90 days of the purchase date.

Title to the property will not be transferred to the purchaser until the above conditions are met.
